Rinse the clean buret three times with approximately 3mL portions of the NaOH (aq) solution (see Appendix III, section D) . Drain the rinse into the sink through the stopcock. Obtain more standard NaOH (aq) in the 50mL beaker and almost fill the buret. You may use a funnel to fill the buret, however be sure that is cleaned and rinsed as well.
